What is open data:
A collective information provided by the electronic portal of King Abdullah Medical City, it is accessible and available for all users. This initiative is part of the medical city vision to boost transparency and public interaction. The platform provides up to date information using most innovative ways of merging various data sources. It also provides advanced services so that each user is able to use the information freely without any technical or financial or legal constraints. Users are able to re-use the information while maintaining the legal policy agreement which the information was published under.
Open data policy agreement:
By accessing and using the available information on “open data library" platform you agree to the policy terms and conditions.
Terms and conditions for this policy is subject to change and modifications without prior notice to users. Hence, it is important to review the agreement policy when using this platform and its content.
Platform data and users :
KAMC allows platform users to view and use the open data free of charge at their own responsibility (or risk). This right is guaranteed for all platform users.
User-data responsibility:
The user will be held responsible for reusing the open data library information. The user must avoid any errors when posting the content, the source and date of the information.
King Abdullah Medical City responsibility
KAMC not responsible for any damage that may appear, or any abuse any entity might encounter due to the use of the available data on its information platform. KAMC does not guarantee the continuity of the data or parts of it.
KAMC is not held responsible for the users who use the information, or any damage or loss caused by reusing information.
Terms and conditions for reusing the information:
The user must mention King Abdullah Medical City as the “source" of the information used from its platform.
The user must not alter or change the information used, and must not ignore mentioning the “source".
The user must not use the information for political debates or to support illegal actions or in support of criminal acts or use them in racist or hate comments as well as fueling negative reactions or violating the culture and equality in society. Or in support of any activity that is considered illegal or against the culture and traditions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The user must provide a link to the source of the information by stating the link to KAMC Web Portal, in order to protect the intellectual property of the hospital information and maintain its credibility.
